Helping to make our children’s time at Furzefield even more special
A bit about FoF
FoF was set up to bridge the gap between home life and school, as well as raise vital funds. Our aim is to put smiles on our children’s faces by providing the extras that a school budget can’t stretch to.
What do we get up to?
Yes, we want to raise money through activities such as our fetes, quiz nights, Easter egg hunts and lolly Fridays. Yet we also run not-for-profit events such as Mother’s and Father’s Day wrap where children get real joy from independently choosing and wrapping a gift for £1.
What do we do with the money?
This year there’s a big push to raise funds to build a new covered outdoor area for the summer months, as well as the ongoing maintenance of the all-weather running track. We also support school trips, buy fun resources and provide vital support in the shape of equipment and activities that bring learning to life.

There are all sorts of ways to get involved that will slot in with your work or family commitments. - Shop online to earn FoF commission

- Buy your name labels and earn FoF Money – Stikins
Stikins name labels can be used on anything (clothes, lunch boxes, shoes), and don’t need ironing or sewing.

- Fete Boards
For the Summer and Winter Fetes, FoF partners with a local estate agent who pays us for every sponsored board that advertises our fetes – literally money for nothing. Please sign up to the FoF mailing list to receive more information friendsoffurzefield@gmail.co.uk
- Match funding
Do you work for a company that offers match funding? Check out your employers’ website if you’re not sure. If they have a corporate social responsibility programme, they may well do match funding. If so, it could double the money we raise at one our fetes turning £2,000 into £4,000.
