School closed from tomorrow (5th January 2021)
Following on from our letter sent on Friday, we have now received a new government directive.
At 8pm today, the Prime Minister announced that all schools will be closed from tomorrow (5th January 2021).
This applies to all year groups at Furzefield, including Nursery and Shining Stars.
If believe you are a critical worker (formerly key worker) you have the option to bring your child to school tomorrow. Further clarification of your eligibility will be required in the coming days.
If your child has an EHCP, you have the option to bring your child to school tomorrow.
If your child has an assigned social worker, we encourage you to bring your child to school tomorrow.
NEW – If your child is attending, please come to your normal entrance at your normal time. This will be reviewed in the coming days.
Details on online learning will be sent to your registered email address tomorrow. If you do not receive these by 3pm, please get in contact with the school.
Please note that breakfast and after school clubs will be closed.

Christmas Holidays
Please note that school closes on Friday 18th December. There will be a staggered finish from 1:15pm.
Refer to previous correspondence for your child’s allocated time. Call the office if you are unsure.
Children return to school on Monday 4th January 2021. Current start and finish time will remain in place.
